I went to a Light Yourself on Fire show at the New World Brewery a few weekends back. I must note that the bartender seemed surprised that I was surprised that they didn’t brew their own beers at this “brewery”. Anyways, the show was great; kinda like getting hit by a Night Train. Here’s some pictures.
After the show, Scott Murphy and I went through Ybor, so this last picture was hardly surprising.
Weird BMX wreck. They sewed up my hand and then the next day x-rayed it and realized there was a rock in it. So I had to have surgery. Yea! This was a few years ago.

-I danced with 20 Redbull girls who were filming for flugtag.
-I went to flugtag and stood in the sun for 4 hours sans sunscreen
-I jumped of a bridge in the spirit of flight day
-I got sliced by barnacles climbing out of the water
-I went surfing today for the first time ever

I went over to St. Pete to see a band called Gogol Bordello. I went with a group of friends and we all dressed as gypsies, because the band is in the category “gypsy punk”. I had only heard them online briefly and didn’t really know what to expect. They were unbelievable; one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. They had the crowd bouncing the entire time. He is a video of them I found from Coachella this year.
